Italian Sausage & Cheese Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 3/4 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Thoroughly mix all ingredients in a medium sized bowl
  • Use a small cookie scoop, or a tablespoon, and roll into balls
  • Place on ungreased baking sheet
  • Bake for 15 minutes

Notes

To Freeze:
Let meatballs cool completely, place in airtight freezer bag.  These will last in the freezer for up to 3 months.
To Reheat from Frozen:
Microwave 6 meatballs for 45 seconds - 1 minute
